Garfield Kart ^NEW^

If you're lucky enough to get through a race without strange collision issues, you're still unlikely to have a great time of things. The game has a tendency to trigger weapons extremely frequently, some of which you're powerless to avoid. The pillow weapon in particular hits all enemies and makes them fall asleep, reducing their kart to a crawl. While it may be welcome to have your kart go slow enough to avoid the possibility of falling through the scenery for once, when it happens four or five times in a race it's downright infuriating.

Quite a shame. I genuinely wanted to try this one out. For one though, I had no idea if was just a remake of the original, and two, it seems pretty darn terrible. My hunger for a good garfield switch game continues.

Yeah, I kind of have a morbid curiosity and want to see mini reviews of all the cheaper lower echelon Kart Racers If that's not an attractive topic for the site, I totally get that. Ever since I had fun with mediocre Meow Motors single player campaign, I've wondered how other cheap kart racers stack up.

It would be cool if nintendolife made a video reviewing all the kart racers on switch in the same video. Would be interesting to see a group of people expressing their opinions about them all. I got burned earlier this year when I bought Meow Motors for $15. That game has to be worse than Garfield Kart

I was really hoping a miracle would happen and this game would be at least decent. Part of me wants this game just for the LOLs. The screenshots actually looked appealing but the videos made it look very dull gameplay-wise. And watching the karts go around a turn seemed to defy all the laws of physics.

@scully1888 What have you done to deserve the 'honour' of reviewing three terrible kart racing games in a matter of weeks? At least it means we get more of your excellent and punbelievably funny reviews, so it's not all bad. I've been reading your critiques of games since the ONM days and for me, you're one of the best in the business.

@TheRealKyleHyde Ah, cheers mate, I appreciate that. Over on my own site Tired Old Hack, I've got a regular feature called Kartography where I break down licensed karting games, so I've sort of carved a niche for myself as a karting expert. Think that's why Nintendo Life asked for my 'expertise' ?

Choose your character and kart according to their characteristics and your driving style, get off the starting line first and control skids to outrun your opponents. Use crazy bonus objects, like the Pillow or the Magic Wand, to gain an edge and get over the finishing line first. Are you lazy like Garfield? Take shortcuts to overtake the other racers with the Spring! Race your friends in local mode or online, with up to eight players on 16 iconic circuits from the world of Garfield.

The horribly titled Garfield Kart Furious Racing seems to be pretending to be a brand new Garfield karting game. The description (Garfield, the famous lasagna-loving cat, is back) and the price tag suggests what we have here is a sequel to the much-maligned 2013 Garfield Karting.

Obviously inspired by the successful Mario Kart series, Garfield Kart tried to capitalize on the success of the kart-racing genre of games. The Garfield-themed racing game was first developed for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android, before eventually being ported to the Nintendo 3DS.

I was proven quite wrong, as Jon is easily the best character in the game. This game must have secretly been developed by Jon himself as some form of wish fulfillment or escapism from his banal life, as after selecting Jon as my kart racer, I never lost a single race.

Mario Kart presents players with unique vehicle designs, allowing them to ride a motorcycle shaped like a Bullet Bill or race around in a baby carriage. Garfield Kart allows players to select from eight different recolors of the same boring go-kart.

Players can add an array of spoilers to their kart, which increases their speed or handling. Of course, since handling is so unimportant, just add the speed-related spoilers if you want to help increase your chances of winning.

Similar to other kart racing games (like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled), during each race in Garfield Kart: Furious Racing, you can pick up special boosters and weapons that allow you to mess with your opponents or give yourself an advantage. For instance, lasagna gives you a temporary speed boost, while things like pies and springs can be placed on the track as obstacles for your opponents (and you) to avoid.

Hit the racetrack with Garfield and the rest of his friends in the most hilarious kart racing game in existence! Your favorites like Jon, Odie, and Nermal are all there! 16 different circuits await you and your kart. Race through the Mally supermarket, the misty docks, the oasis, and even the dark manor house. The minimum CPU is set at a Core 2 Duo E4400 for Garfield Kart.

While PC gamers do not have access to Mario Kart, there is no shortage of alternative Kart racers to enjoy. Today, Fanatical are offering PC gamers free game codes for Garfield Kart Furious Racing for Steam, a great kart racer with a "Very Positive" review rating.

Garfield Kart 3: Here We Go Again is a kart racing game which is the third installment in the Garfield Kart series and a spiritual successor to Garviel Kart, and by that I mean literally just Garviel Kart but with Garfield characters and some other stuff.

Garfield Kart is go-kart racing game which bears many similarities to Nintendo's Mario Kart series. Following the its release on the 3DS and the Steam store in 2015, the game was widely mocked online for its unimaginative gameplay, low production value and poorly designed mechanics.

On November 7th, 2013, Garfield Kart was released for the PC, Mac, iOS and Android platforms. Developed by Artefacts Studios and published by Microids, in the game, the player controls one of many characters from the Garfield franchise while racing go-kart vehicles around various tracks. In the summer of 2015, the game was released on Steam[4] and on the Nintendo 3DS.

On December 22nd, 2015, the /r/steamsaledetectives[3] subreddit was launched for investigations into rumors regarding the 2015 Winter Steam Sale. On December 31st, Destructoid[2] reported that Valve had hidden a new alternate reality game (ARG) within the sale. After a /r/steamsaledetective user joked that Valve hid secrets within the game Garfield Kart, many began joking that it was the key to solving the sale's ARG.[5] On January 2nd, 2016, the /r/dankgarfieldkartmemes[6] subreddit was created. The following day, the Garfield Kart Wiki[1] was created in reference to the Steam sale joke.

When he's not slurping lasagne and delivering caustic bon mots, Garfield is a kart racer. Or at least, that must be the case, because Garfield Kart: Furious Racing is a new karting game set to release for PC this November. Not only that, it's the sequel to a Garfield karting game that released back in 2013.

It may seem weird that there's a Garfield karting game, and it may seem weirder still that there's going to be another one. But remember: it was only last month that people were weirdly salivating over a Crash Bandicoot kart racing game, and Sonic recently got another one too. There's a Nickelodeon kart racer, a Cars kart racer, a Muppets kart racer... must I list them all? If you've got a mascot or an iconic creature, you make a kart racer for it, it's as simple as that. I respect that there's going to be a new Garfield kart racer. I think it's a good idea.

Garfield Kart: Furious Racing will feature 16 tracks, and it'll support up to 8 players online or 4 locally. The game modes range Grand Prix, Single Race and Time Trial, and there are eight "iconic" characters to choose from: Garfield, Odie, Jon, Nermal, Arlene, Liz, Harry and Squeak. Each character and kart has its own "characteristics and unique driving style", so there will be consequences for your selections. 041b061a72
